  1. Out of the socialist frying pan, into the 'objectivist' fire. Instead of tightening up academic rigour and improving knowledge we get motivated reasoning now justified by a whole ideological structure, not exactly what people meant when they said they wanted a more comprehensive grounding in the topics. At least it wasn't Stalinism.
