@TheImperatorKnight The subjectivists don't form one cult by many, and both groups can be wrong. Objectives are a very specific group and in my experience are very much a classic cult organisation. There are many other groups with ideas who are much less internally mad, even the subjectivists are better as they are very loosely organised for them most part so the same group psychology isn't really in place, with them being and ideological group much more than a predatory organisation. I hope you don't go down this route, I recommend getting in touch with people within the political sphere, even if I think Liney's he is a far better person to get in with than what the objectivists became. Personally I'd recommend getting into some of the Christian thinkers, they have a pretty wide reach in our sphere and even if you are atheist have a lot of ideas to challenge you as well as being very important to understand the context of western culture and values.

@TheImperatorKnight I'm not scared of losing my faith, the objectivists aren't very good at what they do (nihilism is a very very bad argument). I recommend the Sargon objectivist debate, he could have held it in church and had less of a religious arura with the people there. I know you are big into freedom and fairly naïve with when it comes to ideology. I honestly couldn't tell you had read much about Christianity, it hasn't really shown as you have been on the Linsey train rather than connecting the history of progressivism as a movement basically to the pursuit of Rousseau's utopia and development of liberal movements. Stalin's writings of self-justification when it is much easier to know him by his fruits. Also I'm not giving such people the benefit of the doubt, they have a proven track record of taking advantage of it and being utterly dishonest. My worry is that you will go head first into an ideology which is an extreme version of many of the things you have sympathy for. You have already shown that you have a weakness to nonsense in thinking that Austrian economics is a be all end all rather than a tool of deconstructing why our current systems are corrupt and failing. You seem to view everything on a freedom axis, the reality is that the world is about a lot more than individualism and materialism, humans are social creatures and personal interests almost always intersect with group one's.
