I'd seriously look into Rousseau, also I'd recommend getting in touch with the Lotus Eaters, they have been doing a lot of work on related topics and can probably give you better grasp of the reading without having to go through it all like they have for years. It is a positive thing that people are started to recognise the nature of the enemy arrayed against us, most who've got a peek at it so far have turned to Christianity, we'll welcome you in if you choose to tread the same path. An important point is that the belief in an objective and logical universe comes from Christian dogma (God is logical and rational and he created a self-contained universe with logically consistent rules which can only be broken by divine intervention, if this wasn't the case miracles would hardly be a big deal) as a result the scientist faction isn't really independent and indeed much of it has already fallen to post-modernism. Also God is a father and a patriarch so he's not female, also man is made after his image and was the first made, I know you weren't being serious but there are a good many in compromised churches who are when it comes to that point.

In strict terms it definitionally can't be but in reality there is a religion which calls itself atheist but is in fact anti-theist, with a strong focus on Christianity and a declining membership due to being 'cringe' and not really doing much other than worshipping Dawkins and Hitchens and screaming abuse into a void on the internet.

It isn't muck, talking about communism and roman salute ism is still relevant to today's politics, it is important to understand how the past had an affect on the current and to apply the lessons of history. Maybe it conforms to some sense of moral purpose to record the annals of China and not warn the emperor to strengthen the army and crush decadence but such a stance will prove its worth when the Mongols burn down your library and kill you and everyone in your city. History is full of people who can't see the forest for the trees, what happens now will decide the history of the future.

Do you want a list, it was literally argued that it had after Muhammad died, you have two sects, Muhammad's night journey is heavily implied to be to Medina but conveniently switched to Jerusalem centuries later, the hadiths are suspicious to many scholars to say the least, Muhammad both seems to have misunderstood Christianity, plagiarized from a heretic version of the bible (most likely where he got the misunderstandings from) and changed in stances on Christians and Jews depending on the political situation he thought he was in, the whole of Islam is insanely cynical and reads like an attempt to create an imperial ideology to unite and spread Arab culture though violence and mass rape (supposedly sanctioned by God). If God truly spoke to the Arabs why instead of enlightening them did he make them backward savages and unleash them as a plague upon the world.

Nah not really, you are underestimating how unoriginal people are, so long as it serves people's purposes then the lower sort will carry on a long lineage of such ideas, unsurprisingly they have long be associated with scammers and lunatics who love the mystic power that can be implied by supposed forbidden knowledge. We know it was passed on throughout the Christian era by the fact the church was constantly persecuting them and their heresies popped up like a game of wack-a-mole, during the enlightenment such ideas became popular with the degenerates (liberals as they call themselves) as it appealed to the ego of idiots to think you knew better than everyone else, the general many of these ideas (including total freedom from the bounds of reality) were synthesized by Rousseau and that became its modern religious form, before that it was mostly a set of eccentric beliefs that got bundled into any nonsense religious movement started by street preachers, madmen or aspiring cult leaders, it is the Rousseauian branch that basically the whole of the French liberal, socialist and communist project springs out of, with him adding in a lot of materialism (the utopia will be on earth and will be one where man is totally alienated from social bonds and responsibility living in nature as an he originally was before being enslaved by the existence of society and property) and basically inverting the Christian moral system. From there it becomes very easy to see who they persisted as you can literally track the prominent members of the ideology.

Depends on the version but basically yeah it was created to spread the French liberal project (basically the religion of Rousseau) and people within it or offshoots/competitors would serve as an influence and organisational means for the more radical American revolutionaries, the French revolutionaries and various other liberal schemes, there is a reason the Catholics are so paranoid about them. Likewise they would be directly important to the sudden breakout of the Greek war of independence and the attempted decemberist coup to overthrow the Russian empire, I haven't read enough but I would imagine they were also involved in 1848, however after that they decline in relevance and various socialist derived groups like the fabians take the fore. It is important to not see them as one organisation but as many similar groups sharing a discourse and often scrabbling over tactics or the splitting of hairs, a bit like the right wing presence online.

  22. They are religions which apply themselves to the material realm and call themselves 'scientific', in reality their constraint to reality makes them far more dogmatic, the Christians don't claim that the destruction of society and property will bring an earthly utopia, the Rousseauians do.
