  2. This war is 70 years old, the Jews historically got on find with Persia. Indeed they were pretty comfortable in the middle East as they were part of the slave trade, working with their kin in Europe to sell to the Muslim world. Plenty of conflicts in the middle east well prior to western involvement, but most were clan or tribal fighting, not really wars unless they got out of hand.
