Comments by "Archangel Tyrael" (@ArchangelTyrael) on "Andre Onana receives 12-month suspension for doping" video.
It was a ‘drug’ to help pee, which his wife used. He mixed up the pils, the names were similar. The drug is not performance enhancing.

@haaspaas2 Lol what is your proof for that? He took the pill on a Friday which was not even a match day. So why would he even take doping to boost preformance on a non match day? The next match day was against Fortuna Sittard the number 11 of 18 in the competition. Why would he risk preformance enhancing drugs a day before a match against a non strong opponent?

@Launch_a_poo He hasn't been tested positive before. So he is not using seroids or any other stuff. His wive has that medication, why is it so hard to believe that he took it by accident? Suddenly people want to believe he is using drugs to enhance his preformance. Even the UEFA recognises it was an accident. That medication has several uses. Ans yeah some people use it to mess up drugtests but there are plenty of legal uses.

@jhaziv2 It is a combination of factors. 1 it was not a match day. 2. He has never used drugs before. 3. There way no reason to take preformance enhancing drugs 4. The UEFA ruled it was an accident. 5. Previous tests would have showed if he was on drugs for a longer time. 6. His wife was prescribed those drugs. 7. What he took does not boost preformance. 8. A mistake is likely to happen if you have 2 pills laying around with the same name.

@jhaziv2 Also there are various drugs you can take. Not all require a 'cycle'. So yes the argument is valid. Furthermore innocent untill proven guilty. If even the UEFA admitted it was an accident who are others to claim otherwise without proof? No proof that he took preformance enhancers. No proof he did it in purpose. What was in his system is not a preformance enhancer. His wife had a prescription to use it. Seems logical it was an accident.

@jhaziv2 Then enlighten me. Show me proof that he did it on purpose and that he is using drugs.

@jhaziv2 They ruled it was an accident. As per their statement. Yes it is used by some to mask it, it also has tons of other legal uses. A 12 month ban is ridiculous. He is not even allowed to train with the team. This could ruin his career. The question is how far they are willing to go to catch a few guilty players. Is it worth orth running innocent player's career? For a mistake, to ban him for 12 months? Whilst his wife had a legal prescription. All the evidence points towards an accident. Bann him, sure if those are the rules. But not for 12 months.

@aeternavictrix7861 I mean that UEFA said it was an accident to Onana before it became publuc that Onana got punished for doping. Since obviously they tell the people involved before making it public. Onana can't tell anyone unless he got told first.
2
@Dawid-wc8sb The test which found one was a 'no play' test. These occur about twice a year randomtetst eventough, you are not paying. The test was on the same day as when he took the pill. But in none of the other regular test did they fund illegal substances.
2
@aeternavictrix7861 That's why the UEFA said it was an accident? Lol.
1
@aeternavictrix7861 They said that before it was public.
1
@Dawid-wc8sb I know it's not like video games. But they get tested quite regularly. Different players every game. So it should be 4-8 weeks on average.

@CAESAR-yj6ms Yeah and modern equipment, lab analysts, etc. aren't fooled anymore by this medicine. So it's useless for hiding doping anyway.

@viytalic9049 I made enough arrangements in my previous comments. But yeah just check UEFA's statement. Enough proof that he didn't do it on purpose.
1
@viytalic9049 Amd actually yeah that is how it works. Innocent untill proven guilty.
1
@viytalic9049 UEFA ruled it as an accident that is your proof. He is innocent untill proven guilty in a court of law.
