  8. So now you talk about different jurisdictions where people could open up accounts. Yes if you went to Turkey, many of the banks there would love to have your account and they wouldn't care if you were a pep, or doing anything else controversial. But then you have to look at what about the correspondent Banks? How do you get Sterling or euros into a Turkish Bank? Next, how would you send payments out of a Turkish Bank? And the real kicker is, what is the level of security of the bank. Turkey is rated by Moody's as B3, many times below investment grade. I don't know how many banks defaulted, but I'm not aware of any sovereign defaults from Turkey, and I used to be an EMB trader. But I would have serious concerns about putting large sums of money into Turkish Banks. The other ones you alluded to may have similar issues. You're really looking for a P1 Bank, these are all p2p3 and worse rated Banks. So it's easy to deposit money, but how do you get the money out? You speak about Ecuador, they defaulted on some of their sovereign bonds, and they still have not paid them to this day! Belize for example is a serial default on on their sovereign bonds. I would have no concerns about opening up an account in Singapore but I think you have to deposit at least 500000 and possibly as much as five million. And do you have that floating in your back pocket. And one more thing I should mention, some of these countries like the UAE is on a sanctions list. Here's the website to check if your country is on a sanctions list. And my Swiss banker told me that if I opened up an account in Georgia, they would immediately freeze my account. 12. I really enjoy your videos, but sometimes with the intention of keeping the video fast-paced, you'll admit a whole bunch of issues. Let's talk about the trucker strike in Canada. Their strike was deemed illegal, it was not a protest per se, but rather they blocked the entire city and then they ended up blocking the border to the United States which caused more than 20,000 people to become unemployed because they couldn't get parts across the border in the auto factories. And I'm sure there was more issues than that so the government said the strike was illegal. Again it was not a simple protest but rather an attempt to shut down portions of the country. Citizens don't have the right to do that, they can speak their mind which is legal and constitutionally protected but not shut down the country. The trucker strike was prolonged by people going out there giving them food, giving them money, and bringing them jugs of diesel fuel so they can run their trucks to stay warm in the dead of winter. They were in essentially conspiring with the truck drivers to prolong the illegal strike. I think they closed One bank account, but it created international headlines, and many people blew it out of proportion. Trudeau's father Pierre enacted the war measures act because one guy got kidnapped Pierre la Porte. And so the family has a history of overreacting. The government could have easily just gone out with Force and the totally the trucks and the rest of the truck drivers after giving them notice. But the left-leaning prime minister felt that that would be politically suicidal for him so he went about it in a very unprofessional way.
