@sydn2698 It doesn't make sense and isn't funny and I'm literally the funniest person at my office job.

@seendon5394 Space isn't infinite though, and life is almost infinitely unlikely. If life has only arisen once in 3.8 billion years in the most hospitable place in the known universe, and has never been replicated in a lab even with the intelligent guidance of some of the brightest men and women, then it almost certainly exists nowhere else.

@samuelspace101 The Knowing is about a Solar Flare.

@ILWeatherguy87 It isn't impossible. There are sun-like stars that periodically form sunspots that cover up to half of their surface and then have mass ejections (several thousand times larger than anything ever produced by our sun) that are powerful enough to strip the atmosphere of a planet off completely.

Denying climate change won't save you.

@SimoneBellomonte hey, I amused you with my comment.

Earth is and will always be the only planet where life has arisen in all of the history of the entire universe.

@Kyplanet893 Can definitely say it with a high degree of certainty. Even with Earth being as habitable as it is life has only successfully arisen once in the last 3.8 billion years. And conditions for creating life are so infinitely unlikely that it has never even come close to being replicated in a lab.

@JonnieK2006 doesn't that depend on the size? Like a moon-sized object isn't going to tear the Earth apart.
