  1. There's not much space for cars in downtown LA. Very little of downtown LA was demolished to build parking, and most of the space that was has been redeveloped.

  2. ​ @adas1988  The key for no cars is high density living. You can't have walkable neighborhoods and functional public transport without relatively high density. Now, I don't mean Manhattan density, but Charleston or Savannah density.
