There's literally zero evidence or reason to believe black holes have a singularity. The singularity is only a product of mathematical modeling. Everything in the universe can be modeled to have a singularity. There is no serious belief that there is an actual singularity inside a black hole, and no evidence to suggest that matter can even collapse into a singularity. If your model says a value reaches or approaches infinity, the model is too simple. We had this with Newtonian equations on gravity, which is why Einstein's theory of relativity had to replace it. Einstein's theory of relativity, while fantastic, has this samee issue but for singularities. Now it is simply a matter of time until someone produces a superior model that solves this problem. While currently impossible to prove, chances are that black holes are just denser versions of neutron stars (infact it's been theorized that black holes may the hypothesized quark stars), in which they're so dense that they are hidden behind their event horizon, while still not being infinitely dense.
