  5. I am a gay man and I also want nothing to do with trans. I am very irritated by the addition of the T to LGB. I agree with the senior citizen lady. That being said, I also agree with James's fire against people directing all this ammo at transgendered. While I absolutely get irked with them being associated with me as a gay man, society needs to stop antagonizing transgendered folks.

Would be a pretty effective point but for the fact that whites at least here in the Americas have done far worse than that to blacks across the span of 500 years and have yet to address it with reparations. As a black man, I can only wish that the only thing whites did to blacks was see themselves as us as opposed to you know anti-black slavery, reconstruction era sabotage, Jim Crow/US Civil Rights Movement, police brutality/BLM, the list goes on. By comparison, women seem like big bellyachers complaining about men seeing themselves as them.

  8. EricVPower, I agree with you in part because as you being a gay white male, you are among the most privileged in the gay community and are very much celebrated. I think pride should be reserved towards gay minorities and particularly gay black men like myself who have to exist as a double minority. White gay men will never fully grasp their privilege. Gay blacks and minorities go through an experience that gay white men like yourself will never grasp. You all could pass yourself off as heterosexual and have just as much privilege as Piers Morgan. Works differently for black folks.

  10. Pierce, I am ashamed of you, criticizing us for having a gay month? Veterans aren't nationally marginalized and looked down on but celebrated whenever you bring them up. And in fact, they have many sources of outright reparations whereas gays were act like we were given reparations just to get married. Also, in your verbal assault on us as gay people in contrast to veterans, you disregarded a whole population of gay veterans who have defended your ability to sit there on a newscast who would be by your own definition double minorities. How dare you as a heterosexual white man with all the privilege of the world look down your nose at gay folks, blacks folks and every other minority.
