The company should have stuck in the general direction it was going with the 2011-16 models, the height of the Hyundai era when it was on top in the car brand world. They should have made smoother updates from 2016 on that related to the 2011-16 car exterior design. Instead, they just wholly revamped everything about the car and in away that it went downhill by 2017. Since the 2011-16 models, it doesn't have it's unique sculpted shape, slick design, sporty look. It turned into a generic car by 2017 with a oversized ugly grill that has followed through to the 2019 season of the car. I was soooooooo happy to go out and by a 2016 Elantra earlier this month when my mother loaned me a big sum of money to get any car of my choosing. You heard it here. I got myself a silver 2016 Hyundai Elantra (newest of that era) with get this, only 10,000 miles. Paid $13,800 for it. Well worth the money to get my favored car. What's funny is they had a 2018 Hyundai Elantra for sell at a lower price and I said hell no to get my 2016 Elantra. People seem to like the 2017-18 models better than the 2019, but I give a big hell no to the both of them. This 2019 looks like it's trying to be aggressive and professional at the same time. Odd mixture and it clashes. The 2017-18 was kind of boring for me.
