Vietnam Vets were fake. They spilled out of a bus after donning uniforms purchased at thrift stores by the SDS. SDS was a Soviet-run ideological warfare operation managed by information and AGITPROP warfare specialists in Soviet intelligence. Weather Underground was the violent wing of SDS. SDS did the fake protesting, recruiting, agitating, and emotional appeal efforts in the universities. The claims about Panama were obvious lies, given the easily-verfied history of the Canal Zone. If you've lived in Russia or have studied Soviet ideological warfare strategies and see how information is managed, this all jumps out at you.

@hannotn Name me the benevolent leaders of all these different countries. Castro is probably the most loved, most charismatic, most respected of all the dictators outside of US influence. He had public executions and untold thousands of political prisoners tortured and murdered. That's the problem any nation faces when supporting a foreign government. There is no white hat and black hat. These places have centuries-old internal bloody struggles between rival factions that the capitalist and socialist have to manage somehow when establishing trade and military relations with them. The most glaring omission from Soviet AGITPROP is the silent premise that these things don't exist when they get involved. It's childish and laughable to any real student of history who studied logic first.

@hannotn My studies in logic, the pillars of critical thinking, and intellectual standards are quite extensive and sound. Most University programs don't seem to include them. When a US company in Latin America tried a new leadership strategy at a production facility, it involved asking the workers for input on how the place could be run better. They were shocked when most of the workers quit the next day. As one of the more loyal workers was walking out of the building, a manager asked, "Why is everyone quitting?" "We knew that as soon as they asked us for ideas on how to run the place, it was doomed." This is something Westerners never consider: how class-oriented the rest of the world is.

@hannotn I'm saying the eggs already being broken are done to a lesser degree under US trade influence than Russian. Russians don't give a rip about foreigners, whereas the US reaches for a higher moral standard. Under the Soviet system, they couldn't care less if millions were executed under the banner of socialism. "Good riddance to bourgeoisie capitalists anyway." Russians didn't have anywhere near the trading power either, nor the technology-sharing capacity, since Russia is a low value-added system with raw materials mostly exported, totally reliant on foreign industrial advancements that eventually trickled down to it or were stolen. The reasons why the Soviets enjoyed so much success with propaganda is they had nothing else, kept the messaging simple with class warfare/blame game, and controlled most of the media. They even co-opted the CIA's own counter Soviet propaganda program called Mockingbird, and pushed more anti-American rhetoric through US media corporations.

You got everything wrong in reality, then patted yourselves on the backs with self-congratulatory propaganda: Women's rights = infanticide. You dramatically reduced the natural population of US citizens through easy access to abortion, creating more demand for illegal foreign labor, increased crime, and lack of a tight-knit society. Civil rights = destruction of the black family unit, creating multi-generational low-income single teen mothers as the standard for the new black family, and incarceration for black males as the default practice of the state. School: You took an existing institution that already struggled at educating, and made it far worse, so that academic standards for the few that pursued them were made even less accessible. Common neighborhood institutions that held people together were mocked, and children encouraged to rebel against bonds that held families together for centuries. The hippie movement was an absolute curse on humanity.

It's mostly false. The fake Vietnam veterans throwing medals, the blatant lies about Panama, the slip-up about people smiling all expose a silly form of Russian propaganda that was common for the IOJ. People who went to public school, attended most universities, and believe the Mockingbird news are easy prey for this type of AGITPROP. People with cultural exposure to Russia, analytical skills, and basic historical knowledge can see clearly through it.

Soviet propaganda used elements of their perception of truth, which can be seen through if you have lived in Russia and watched how information is controlled there. If you fall for Cold War era Russian propaganda, it likely means you had teachers and professors who were raised on Marxist ideology in their universities, which has been common for generations now. Read The Naked Communist or anything from Thomas Sowell if you want to understand Marx.

Then look at the fake Vietnam vets wearing surplus uniforms they bought or acquired as part of a curated “demonstration” throwing “their” medals over the fence in DC. That was designed to get actual veterans to question themselves and the war effort to do the same and create a movement. That is Communist revolutionary 101, steered by their professors who were CPUSA members/Soviet assets.

Those guys were fake role-player hippies recruited by Soviet activists to pretend to be former soldiers. The Civil Rights movement was orchestrated by Communists to agitate, not to create equality. The hippie movement was driven by Marxist professors, psychedelic drug distribution like an opium war, and musical revolution. Much of that was designed to undermine the US involvement in Vietnam as a form of asymmetric warfare, and it worked. Public-schooled baby boomer children had zero critical thinking skills to see through it, and took the bait hook, line, and sinker.

They became Federal, State, and local bureaucrats, school teachers, professors, and politicians who rose into their own in the 1980s and 1990s, enacting some of the worst practices and policies in US history. While having very few kids themselves, they told everyone else how to raise or abort their children, as they spent like drunken sailors on themselves. They condemned the traditional family, ethics, and morality, and said "live your own truth". They ditched responsibility and marital commitment in favor of materialism, selfishness, and instant gratification.

The Soviet Union was evil, run by some of the worst demons in history. When you have arbitrary quotas for mass executions, it's hard to get more evil than that. When you purposely starve millions of people into an artificial famine, it's evidence of men channeling demons through their actions. @Chaddyfold The Russian immigrants in Dallas who escaped by various illegal methods from the USSR commented on how strange it was that Marina Oswald was able to get her exit Visa so quickly, and how polished she was compared to them. The most liberal times for exit visa from Russia in recent memory were 1992-2009. Putin clamped down hard after that, especially for engineers, technicians, and anyone from the intelligentsia caste in society. I remember seeing people at the Central Rail Station in Moscow begging for exit Visas with all kinds of paperwork, stamps, and appeals, to no avail. Me with a foreign passport = immediate ticket purchase, no problem. Most people couldn't afford to bribe the fat, mean ladies behind the glass. It was weird, like the Soviet times never got out of their psyche when it comes to customer service.

West Germany out of Bitburg AFB, home of the Eagles. That wing focused heavily on the MiG threat and were about as serious as you can get, since the enemy was just over the border. They used to game the Warsaw Pact and East Germans by rushing towards the border in F-15s, then have the ELINT and SIGINT people recording everything they could see to gauge response times of the Soviets, freqs they would use, radar profiles, etc.

That's backwards. Fox 1 was usually Sparrow AIM-7 SARH missile. Fox 2 is Sidewinder AIM-9 IR guided. F-15A usually carried 4 of each like the F-4 could, for a total of 8.
