@marianam8643 The US providing security for Europe equals stability for a 50yr period in European history that was an anomaly. The post Cold War stability came from economic growth in the European Union, and a weak Russia, but now there's instability as the economic growth has declined and Russia is expansionist. The silly policies of the European parliaments have not contributed to any stability. They just had the luxury to make really stupid decisions under American protection.

Democrats in the US are the party of slavery, vehemently defending their right to own people in the 1800s and fighting for new slave states being added to the Union. Progressives of the early 1900s eradicated Blacks from government (Woodrow Wilson), then pioneered eugenics in California. Hitler was inspired by the California eugenics program of social cleansing, for example. The Soviets used racial tensions to weaken targeted nations, so the Democrats in the US had to do moral back-flips to brand themselves as not being racists anymore, while fanning the flames of racism.

@tom-ment-Capybara Historically the democrats in the US were the racists, and still are. Remember that the democrats fought to continue to add slave States to the Union and defend their right to own people. The Republican party was created to abolish slavery and counter the addition of slave States to the Union. The Progressives were extremely racist and class-centric even, while pretending to support equality. Look at Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson as examples. Teddy hated the caucus system in the US and felt superior blue bloods should run politics, while Wilson was a shameless southern Democrat plantation-style racist who fired all the blacks that Republicans had put in Federal jobs in DC. Progressives in California then pioneered the eugenics program, which Hitler later admired and incorporated into nazi Germany. He loved the way they used social engineering and cleansing of undesirables in California's system. Modern progressives condescend to people of different races and classes, thinking they are so superior that they have to solve their problems and those people should just submit to whatever plans they have for them, because they're too incompetent to manage their own affairs. This is the American left's primary social platform with regard to people of color.

@davidkelly790 My favorite conversations are with people who disagree with me but can have a respectful dialogue and learn about each other's opinions & experiences in a way that uplifts each other. It is extremely rare when it happens, but I really long for those times. Talking with people who agree with me is really boring. Trying to talk with people who disagree and are insufferably- stubborn is also not interesting. Most people don't have even a basic education required to understand the topics at hand, and nobody wants to come across as a high brow Intellectual speaking down to peasants.

One of the worst outcomes for mankind was the survival of the Soviet Union through WWII. It was propped-up by the US through Lend-Lease after buying into the Anglo-Franco-Russian alliance. Remember, Lenin and Stalin murdered more people before and after WWII than Russia lost during WWII, and Russia lost 20 million people in the War. Stalin started WWII with Hitler in September 1939 by jointly invading Poland. Stalin then invaded Finland on Nov 30, 1939.
