@basiccoder2166 What did the slaves think when their Roman masters sat with their lawyers in the public crappers to discuss their legal cases? Were they worried about losing their "jobs"? When civilization evolves in how it does work, the hierarchy grows new levels that never existed before due to ingenuity. Were train companies scared about the evolution of passenger air travel? Who cares! New frontiers create new opportunities for work. What if the AI learns that in order to find happiness and health, you need to farm some portion of your own food? There's a huge opportunity for decentralized micro markets with this tech if neighborhoods re-envision themselves, have automated systems recycle their homes while printing new ones that are superior in every way, and forming a whole new civilization in the process.

@uploadJ Jack didn't adapt. Nature refused to reward Jack. Females looked at Jack and chose not to mate with him because he had no future. Jack did not pass on his DNA. Jack was forgotten.

Billions of people burning trash in China, Africa, and India would disagree.

Yeah. Things were better when we had oil lamps and candles burning. That was so much safer, efficient, and inexpensive. That Tesla really screwed things up for mankind.

Public and enclosed schooling systems haven't taught Socratic method or intellectual standards, classical literature, geography, etc. for over a century. That's why people are so dumbed down.
