These are some of the most misinformed statements akin to a Kremlin mouthpiece. For starters, Peter the Great co-opted the Church into a state functionary in 1727 if I recall. What was left of Russian Orthodoxy in the Soviet times by apostate Jew Bolshevik atheists was used as a front for the KGB and foreign intelligence. They murdered 85% of Orthodox priests, burned down churches, and imprisoned protestors. There hasn't been a resurgence of Russian Orthodoxy either. Church is sparsely attended by a few old babushkas and Cossacks. Christian ideals are not a tenet of the Russian society I experienced, though many people were hospitable to me. Russia is a place of hopelessness and you see it on everyone's faces, which is sad. They pride themselves in suffering, not reaching for something better.

The main hate for Trump was that he broke their rigged election system as an outsider. That upset the pipeline feeding into the future primaries for swamplords who have been paying their dues by selling out to the partisan and media machine. The major problem it presented them was that a 2-term Trump Presidency meant a 3rd Term for whoever his VP would be in 2024. That would mean 12 years of a populist movement run by an outsider, and that threatened the swamp to its core. They had to pull out all the stops to derail him by any and all means necessary.

@Geewasright The US hasn't had a President like Trump where there is genuine grassroots support for him generated outside of the legacy presstitute media brothels, and he wins despite all of the vote-rigging, crushing the skankwhore propped up by the establishment. That really ticked off the finance, pharma, insurance, teacher's union retirement fund, big retail, big tech, and those top industries who prop-up the political sell-out class. Deep down, even a half-functioning Democrat recognized that Trump wasn't welcomed in the Republican party by the string-pullers, and is truly an outsider with organic, massive grassroots support like no Presidential candidate has ever had.
