Lebanon is a failed State with electrical power, economic, and political failures. There is no real comparison between it and the US. Geography, population, economy, trade, infrastructure, and military are almost polar opposites.

Russia has the worst school shooting in history with the Beslan incident, which was an act of terrorism by Chechens. 333 people were killed (including 31 Chechens), 783 injured. School shootings have happened all over Europe and Russia over the years. Keep in mind that the US is larger than any of the countries in population, 3rd largest in the world, so when reporting about “the US”, it lumps in 50 States into one Nation.

Normally this grain is shipped to Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, North African and Middle East countries. Lebanon is now a failed state, Egypt and the others have been in food insecurity positions since 2020. Russia cut off the shipping of most of Ukraine's grain, which is causing reduced food availability for hundreds of millions of people.

@Opinlinz I can legally live and work in the US and EU whetever I want. The US is the easy and far superior choice if you like freedom, quality of life, safety, healthcare, and individual liberty. In the 8 States I've lived in and 45 States I've driven through, not once did I ever think I could bribe the police out of anything. Yes, it happens in rare circumstances, but it's not the norm like in most other nations. In Italy, the customs officers will help you beat the system by saying, "But you have some friends, no? Bring the 20 cartons of cigarettes in." In the 30 nations I've traveled to and 8 that I've lived in, ranging from West Germany to South Korea, Japan to Finland, nd Russia to Saudi Arabia, you don't mess around with police. Polizei used to crack skulls on shoplifters. In the US, the police would be fired in most cities if they did, then face a civil lawsuit. Imagine trying to file a lawsuit against the police in other countries. You'll be arrested or killed quickly. It happened to the lawyer of a family in Moscow when I was there who was talking to journalists too much. China has a huge political and religious prisoner population that is enslaved, with no open statistics reported.

Have you ever been to Russia? Their healthcare is next to non-existent. It's a very poor, over-extended nation who has spent all their money on weapons instead of critical infrastructure, due to their geographic challenges.

@Opinlinz The US is the 3rd largest population in the world and you don't get to pay off the police like most other nations, since police get paid well here. Your premise is based on the assumption that the vast majority of US prisoners should be free or are political prisoners. By putting away thieves, burglars, rapists, drug traffickers, and murderers, it creates a safer society. In most of the countries in the world, you just pay off the police and avoid jail, which creates a crime-friendly environment.

Ukraine was 5th in 2020. From 2021-2022 they have had a 30% surge in wheat production so far, with millions of metric tons sitting in harbors now that can’t be shipped due to the invasion. Russian wheat exports will now be sanctioned, while China comes in to buy everything up they can from both Russia and Ukraine, at major discounts.

@arisplugis5197 Suomi comes from the Saami up north, where the language is even more grammatically complex. As you move south from "Lapland", the grammar simplifies a bit with Suomi (mainland Finland), then even simpler with Esti (Estonian). Swedish, German, and Russian borrowed words have been incorporated with the Saami root language over the past 800 years. There wasn't even an "f" sound in Suomen kieli (Finnish language) historically. Finns use many Swedish words, but Suomi is nothing like Swedish, which they call Ruotsi. The Russian word for bread is "hlyep", while in Suomi it's "leipä". There are a ton of borrowed words from English now that have woven into Suomi, especially in the internet age.

Stalin did what leaders in Moscow had done for centuries, which was to exterminate Ukrainians and Tatars and move ethnic slavs into their places in Eastern Ukraine and Krim. When journalists asked about the rumors of the famine in Ukraine, Stalin said they were capitalist lies, and to prove it, he was exporting Ukrainian grain to the world market because USSR had too much. Ukrainians were worked to death in the east, the food harvested by their own hands from underneath them as they starved. What’s more alarming is the Stalin apologists coming out of the woodwork these days. It’s insane to watch.

@MAKD-1 So Russia invades Ukraine, murders tens of thousands of people, fires incendiary white phosphorous artillery into Ukrainian crops, cruise missiles into population centers, beheads and tortures people, disrupts grain exports to Ukraine’s traditional customers, while causing a humanitarian and energy crisis, and yet here you are talking about American bleached chicken and how the US products should be banned from EU. That’s really strange.

@Tehui1974 Russia restricts access to firearms very strictly, but has the worst school shooting in history (Beslan). The US has more than twice the population of Russia with more firearms than Russia could ever produce just in civilian hands. The US is a far safer place to live than Russia by orders of magnitude, namely because of infrastructure and rule of law. In Russia, people bribe their way out of being jailed, criminals run the nation, regions, and cities basically as extortionist thugs. People can’t buy firearms to protect themselves, so they keep their heads down and try to live their lives meagerly.

@AssGravy Since the 1990s, Russians have been buying property near Finnish air force bases with funding from the Russian Federation. Tens of thousands of “couples” have moved to Finland to live, get jobs, learn the language, have kids. Finnish Army conscripts everybody, including Russians and Somalis. What a world....

@jefwilliam3207 Insurgents and Fedayeen Saddam purposely embedded themselves in the civilian populations so that any likely collateral can be held over the US as part of the propaganda war, knowing fully that they could never go toe-to-toe with the US. Once the Ayatollah ruined Iran, of course the US and UK worked hard to put pressure on the Mullahs. Wouldn't you do the same?

@jefwilliam3207 Saddam had chemical weapons, and wanted everyone to believe he had more than he did. We bombed a lot of the chemical weapons facilities in both ODS and OIF. We also uncovered the Salman Pak terrorist training facility used by Iraq's ISI. Nothing published by presstitute media is worth reading on this matter.

@jefwilliam3207 The US doesn't rely on, nor have we ever relied on Iraqi oil for the "petro-dollar". That's Soviet propaganda from the International Journalist Association, a front that the KGB fomented for decades. Russia is very much dependent on oil sales to other nations, so they always maintained that information warfare mantra about the US and oil. I am a fan of Wikileaks, however you need to be able to read it with context and a comprehensive background on any of the material being released.
