@melliott666 JP Morgan was financing Tesla's power tower work and turned the money faucet way down once he realized Tesla wanted to distribute energy without any ability for Morgan to recover his investment. From Morgan's perspective, he had already spent a lot of money he was hoping to recover and profit from. Tesla had also invented the electric meter to measure energy usage at each home. Morgan said, "If there aren't any wires, where do I put the meter."

@Soppero01 They already knew about hydromechanical power, which does not have enough power to generate the millions of volts necessary to do the work they wanted to do. Standard mills would have been a very primitive technology even then. If you study all the places on earth where pyramids have been found, it's looking more like there was an ancient global civilization that all shared the common presence of these pyramids. They're all over the place, from the Caribbean to Peru, to Honduras, Mexico, Illinois, to Egypt. Many haven't even been excavated.
