There’s a vast ancient civilization that had hundreds of little cities with pyramids and various buildings, canals, 165ft-wide highways, and trade, with millions of people inhabiting the Amazon. We are just barely discovering it with LIDAR mapping. It’s as if the Amazon is more of an overgrown garden they had all around their mini city-states. They had some type of miracle-grow soil as well, which is opposite of what you see mostly in the Amazon now.
