One of the worst places to learn political science is in universities in most countries. There are professors and "professionals" with PhDs who don't know geography or demography to a respectable degree. Instead, they focus on political philosophies, foreign policy, and limited historical narratives based on partisan ideology-all of which ignore ground truth.

@blackshard641 Sadly, much of academia has devolved into a drawn-out fleecing of people to pay for lecture model instruction towards out-dated degree programs, taught by institutional creations who buy into their own tenure and ideologies as a type of religion. It’s the most inflated product, even more inflated than diamonds, with decreasing returns on investment for the students. Access to libraries and peer-reviewed publications online is far superior to a classroom university schooling nowadays, as long as the student can be creative in developing or finding a curriculum path that is relevant to the modern and emerging era. For technical training, schools geared towards that are better because of the tools and instructors they have in-house to facilitate hands-on learning for technicians.
