  1. Zeihan doesn't do US-centric view of geopolitics. He just breaks down the history and geography of each region based on a dispassionate analysis. It appears US-centric because the US has the best geography, economy, and military.

France is primed for a series of internal conflict, as is most of Europe. Things were barely tenable during economic growth. During times of economic hardship, what will it look like in the streets of Marseilles, Lyon, and Paris? Arab drug dealers and thieves are already causing massive problems in France, and have zero respect for police, French culture, or law. They have their own laws.
