Israeli GDP: $527 billion Iran GDP: $368 billion Iron Dome uses Radar-cued cannon fire as well, and last I checked, that ammunition is nowhere near $1 million per kill. Study the systems and metrics more before posting simplified fallacies.

@CaptainMartinWalker The streets and roads in the US are better than most that I have seen around the world. I’ve seen new US-style highways being built in Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Finland, but the US has an amazing road network that is unparalleled in the world. Budgets for roads and highways come from totally different pots. A lot of it is funded from gas taxes and State taxes.

@RespectLoveUnityPeace One of us has been in aerospace and defense for 50 years, and the other hasn’t. One of us has worked on these types of systems and has decades of applied physics, technical and systems familiarity with them, and the other doesn’t. Even assuming that no CIWS were used, the Tamir missiles are only $100-$125k a piece. This is why I recommend not posting about things you aren’t familiar with when making simplistic assumptions about costs to intercept.

@CaptainMartinWalker I’ve lived and traveled all over Europe. It’s nothing like the US when it comes to infrastructure, mainly because they have over 2000 years of history for paths and small streets that weren’t envisioned to ever have automobiles on them, and the economies are managed by bureaucrats who don’t show up to work much, specialize in saying no. US DOTs within each State contract out to the private sector a lot to get things done fast. States vary in quality of DOTs for sure, but the grass isn’t greener anywhere else, that I can tell you.

@alcaldwell5454 A lot of the drones and missiles were shot down by US IADS systems in Iraq and Jordan as well, from what I’m gathering so far.

@ChucksSEADnDEAD $1.3 Trillion and a lot of it is unaccounted for, never has been audited. Congress steers billions of that to Medicare Plan A, which is a rolling hospital bailout program for poorly-managed hospitals in cities around the US.
