@101wormwood I’ve lived all over the US, from CA to Maine, GA to WA, VA, NC, CO, and UT. Used to do a lot of investigative work 6 days a week mainly on medical fraud claims as well. I have multiple family members in the healthcare industry both in hospitals and nursing homes. You might find this surprising, but most Americans don’t take the bus or public transportation. So your anecdotes in Omaha don’t represent a broad perspective of the US. I suggest taking a course in statistics, probability, and analysis. It will help you avoid forming invalid ideas about reality. I would also recommend a course in critical thinking, where you learn to avoid ad hominem attacks because of the weakness of your arguments. It will help you out a lot.

@billstorm5889 Public schools in the US dropped geography as an emphasis in the early 1900s, blending it with a revisionist history into "Social Studies". The classically-trained teachers protested that move because they knew geography and history needed to be separate subjects. The central curriculum planners for the compulsory public schooling system envisioned by John Dewey solidified the dumbing-down "social studies" textbooks and the rest is history. You can see a steady decline in education from that period-forward in the US, because without geography, history is pointless. Without history, you don't learn from the past.

@cugelchannel4733 I know. China and US are nothing alike, except for maybe having large numbers of deep sea ports in a temperate zone. From there, all similarities are gone.

@adamlee2550 France has laws against recording or reporting their demographics because the North African Arabs have been reproducing exponentially, while French murder their future in the womb. France is poised to be the epicenter of one of many ethnic-based civil wars in Europe in the near future, not taking more of a leadership role in a stable continent. This is true in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland as well. Countries like Poland and Hungary have refused to adopt the self-destructive immigration policies of Western Europe, and their economic growth and stability will continue to serve as an example of what could have been to the others. Europe is headed for Civil War based on the trajectory set over the post-WWII generations.

@festekj When Peter was with STRATFOR, they frequently had panel discussions with opposing viewpoints discussed professionally. The "China is taking over" position was represented by chief Asian studies specialist, Robert D. Kaplan, while Peter made his case and counter arguments. I haven't seen any personalities making better arguments than Robert D. Kaplan on China. Peter is very adept at debating this and has done so for decades in a rigorous environment with well-articulated counters to his theses.

@peredavi Finland was in population decline by the 1990s due to abortion and urbanization plus 3rd-wave feminism. Their solution? Import Africans and Middle Easterners, especially Somalis. Sure, the population grew. Abdul is now impregnating his wife, his sister, his aunt, and his cousins to get lapsilisä (govt baby money). Somalis have an entirely different genotype, culture, climate acclimation, work ethic, and religion that simply isn't compatible with Finland, and yet the government enables them to scam the system to the extent that portions of Helsinki are now "pieni Mogadishu", especially Itäkeskus. Helsinki is unrecognizable now. Finland's Parliament, multiple prime ministers, and Presidents have been a joke. One of the only smart things they have done was to acquire Hornets in the 1990s, based on the Finnish Air Force, and now the F-35A to replace those. The underground shelters tunneled out of the granite are another sound policy, given who their neighbor is. A huge portion of Finland's prime age male future was wiped out from 1939-1944, just like most of Europe.
