@obcane3072 European armies are tiny, with limited power to protect themselves or establish domestic security. US would be very apprehensive about getting involved in internal EU civil wars because our soldiers would be caught between ethnic rioters and Islamic terrorists, nationalists, police, and military. European demographics don't have a large pool of military or police recruits. I'm not a doomsday type, but having lived all over Europe and seen how much it has changed from the 1970s-present, the rising mobs of disenfranchised non-Europeans with their inclination towards violence does not bode well for the future.

@obcane3072 The waves of North African Arabs, Sub-Saharan Africans, and Middle Eastern immigrants to Europe have already been rioting, engaging in terrorism, raping, incest, and behaviors not acceptable to post-WWII Europeans. I foresee multiple flash points as the economic conditions deteriorate, leading to multiple Civil wars and uprisings in France, Germany, UK, Sweden, and Netherlands. Europe will ask the US to send peace-keepers, but the US might not want to commit.

@stevehatcher7700 Europe sucks at integrating immigrants though. Ethnic ghettos have erupted all over the continent, with lower employment cobtrubutions and higher welfare demands-the exact opposite of what the leftist parliaments thought they were getting. The recipe in the European oven was never a cake, but a monstrous disaster with smoke, fire, with black ooze pouring out onto the floor.

@ernestmac13 Growth and recessions are usually more driven by natural market forces, though a really aggressive and business savvy WH can promote significant economic growth. Obama and crew were aggressive in tampering with Healthcare and taxation, not so much promoting energy and structural changes that support growth. Solyndra was a giant scam, for example. Obama had zero experience with management, and should never have been allowed near the Senate, let alone the WH.
