 @MrMr-ws3tv American economy isn't painted rust. Things get replaced rapidly in the US with new versions. It happens at a blistering pace that is hard for a Russian to comprehend.

@cleanhit777 I've driven across the US so many times using different highways and have lived in 8 different States. State Departments of Transportation repair roads regularly. Americans complain about road construction and repair all the time without thinking about the alternative, like in Russia where cars fall onto potholes. You can always tell when some Russian propaganda bot starts talking on this subject, who has never set foot in the US and relies on state-supplied BS scripts.

@DieNibelungenliad The Soviet Union was broke like a joke in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Russia is a very poor country and the peripheral Soviet states are even poorer, other than Poland. Ukraine always possessed great economic potential, but Russian and Soviet policy was to keep Ukraine repressed and exploited so they couldn't break away.

@masonm600 The US beat the Nazis using Russia as a willing surrogate, and equipped Russia with Lend-Lease. Only 1/3 of Lend-Lease has been reported openly. Without Lend-Lease, Russia would have been conquered even deeper and for a longer period of time by the Nazis.
