@ArawnOfAnnwn 3nm chips are the current push. The PACRIM nations are doing 5nm at the high end. US is on 3nm, and China buying 7nm from Taiwan while trying and failing to scale 7nm does not equal China mastering 7nm. China can't innovate. They can only copy.

@ArawnOfAnnwn The most advanced SC technology is made all over the US, mostly in the West, then Northeast, South, and Midwest. There are exclusive supply chains for defense and satellite that can't be exported except to Canada, Australia, UK, JSF customers like Japan, ROK, Italy, Norway, etc., with anti-tamper kill-switches. I was stationed in South Korea and have deployed their since. ROK is an Asian industrial powerhouse because of the US technology sharing. They were fertilizing rice paddies with their own feces still when I was there first, then have developed with US freeways, heavy industry, electronics, automobile tech, all brought in from US. It isn't egotistical, just facts.

@ArawnOfAnnwn Huawei 5G is a massive cyberspynet. That's why it was banned. China did not develop 5G, or any of this technology. They just copy it. Geography is what really limits Africa, and their own crab in a bucket tribal rivalries that result from that. It isn't about race. That's a cop-out excuse that covers up the fundamental limits of geography, and still gives people some kind of false hope that they can overcome their lack of navigable rivers, while blaming someone else for when their efforts inevitably fail.
