It's crazy how my comment about Keystone pipeline was removed. I don't violate the policies, Don't even use profanity, Yet my factual comments about the historical realities of Keystone have to be censored for some reason.

@ericr6829 Sweden & Denmark are Bretton Woods, NATO, and EU beneficiaries integrated into the US-European security and trade system. Even though Sweden wasn't part of NATO, they still benefitted from NATO members around them (UK, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland) and used critical systems in their defense sold to them by NATO nations. Example: SAAB fighters have always been powered by Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, or GE motors, using licensed avionics/Radars from Hughes or Leonardo, US/NATO missiles, servos, landing gear, brakes, fuel systems, Mauser cannon, etc. Sweden is a hybrid form of government like any other Nordic state, not pure socialist. The socialist policies mostly weaken Sweden though, which is offset and insulated by being part of the above-mentioned security and trade networks that allowed them to focus on economy and social issues while ignoring defense mostly.

Keystone was going to combine Canadian crude with Bakken light and pipe it south together in the ideal mix for US refineries, dropping energy costs for US & Canada even further. Biden killed that day #1 as his top priority. Why? Because he's a puppet for someone who needs oil at $100/bbl to grow their economy. Can't say who on yt or the comment is deleted.

@pablonutribar8708 As if the government doesn't tax industry in Canada. Remember, almost all of what you hear attacking North American energy production is a Soviet Active Measures class warfare disinformation agitprop spiel. Russians need oil to be at over $100/bbl or their economy doesn't grow. North American oil fields are a huge economic threat to Russia.

@electrosyzygy Biden killed Keystone for Putin, to help Russia build its economy back up after 4 years of being crushed by Trump. Under Trump's energy policies, WTI went from $56 down to $22.

@nicknelson6229 It’s really a missed opportunity for the US and Canada that Keystone was killed after all the work put into the pipe infrastructure. That would have been a perfect mix for the Canadian thick crude piped in with the super-thin Bakken from North Dakota and Montana, to be piped down to the refineries that are set-up already for foreign crude. We would have seen lower energy prices in the US and Canada, which would have meant more economic growth. Corn Pop killed it day 1 in office, which helped Russia immensely.

@nicknelson6229 Look at the WTI though. WTI was trending downward from 2017-2020, dropping from $56 to $22 (not including the Wuhan season drop). With Keystone operational, it would have brought WTI down even lower, which would suck for Russia and Saudi Arabia, but create an environment for dramatic growth in the US and Canada, since we're both value-added economies. Piping it across Canada and not down to the refineries in the US hasn't affected the WTI.

@nicknelson6229 What's incorrect with my post? Will TMX reach the US refineries in the Gulf Coast more easily than Keystone? WTI is on the rise.

@nicknelson6229 I track the WTI daily. US and Canada were on a path to really overshadow a lot of the OPEC nations, much of which is driven by fracking and efficiencies in existing fields. Keystone would have taken the Canadian crude and blended it with North Dakota light sweet and piped it down to the Gulf Coast refineries that are already optimized for mid crudes. Canadian and US cheap energy would help steamroll the new industrial expansion as we de-couple from China for a lot of manufacturing. Biden killed it day 1 in office.
