SARS was patented in 2002 by Fauci associates working out of UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Baric's name is literally on the patent application for a zoonitic gain of threat bat coronavirus, using engineered spike proteins to bind to human endothelia. Shi Zhengli was literally working with Dr. Baric at UNC Chapel Hill until the ethically-challenged SARS weaponization was banned in the US in 2014. Shi Zhengli picked up shop and transported it to the Wuhan Biolab with Fauci money that year. This is all 1999-2019 information, not including any reports from 2020-present.

@thomaskim3128 SARSCoV began in 2002, patented by UNC Chapel Hill researchers. We don't know for a fact that C-19 isn't an evolution of 2002 SARS. Several outbreaks have happened and worked into circulation since 2002.

@Meton2526 Dr. Baric et al literally describe in the 2002 patent how they used engineered spike proteins with different amino acids designed to bond to human endothelia. This was done with chimeric organisms made from human DNA and spliced into mice embryos, so the mice would be born with miniature human lungs. This gave the "researchers" large population sample sizes to test various spike protein configurations until the Coronavirus successfully infected the human lungs. Researchers were waving the red flag about this type of experimentation from the late 1990s-2014, when it was finally banned. At that point, Shi Zhengli picked up the chimeric organism program at UNC Chapel Hill and moved it to Wuhan.

@GeekfromYorkshire I know. I’ve been studying virology, immunology, and epidemiology since 1997. Spike proteins are characteristic of this coronavirus. The particular spike proteins have been artificially engineered with 4 additional positively-charged amino acids that are designed to bond to human endothelia (negatively charged). That was not an accident and is exactly what Dr. Baric et all described in their 2022 patent for a weaponized bat coronavirus SARS.

@TheKamperfoelie The actual researchers who did gain of threat describe weaponizing bat coronavirus using engineered spike proteins after a series of chimeric organism test population serials until the virus would bond to human endothelia. It's in their 2002 patent application and Dr. Baric's name is one of the patent applicants. Not only isn't it natural, but it was hard to get the coronavirus to bond to human lung, blood, and organ tissue cells. The breakthrough was achieved after many years of serial chimeric test populations. The infused human fetal lung stem cells into mice embryos, in order to eventually create chimeric mice with human lungs. That chimeric program took a while and is ongoing. UNC Chapel Hill stated last year they were able to make even more virulent strains of SARS using this type of research.
