  1. The one thing missing in your video when you were viewing the birds flocking in the murnuration was in not saying what kind of birds they are. The birds are Red-winged black birds and they are all males which are all black except for the red and a little yellow on their shoulders. The males are separate from the females during fall and winter. Only the male black birds engage in these murmurations the females do not.
