Lake Mead is getting a lot of help from the record snow pack in the Rocky Mountains. Estimates are that it could rise 33 feet this year.

@racer D. There's an example right there what happens when you don't pay attention in science class and to continue yourself after you graduate so you are less likely to dismiss what's going on the world simply because you didn't bother to keep learning something new. Without science our world would still be in the dark ages!!

@racerd9669 What are telling me then is that you have bought into the same propaganda that Lief Erikson sold to his countrymen about Greenland that it was great for farming. But it was a lie and he was trying to entice others from his homeland to go to Greenland and they might have a better chance at survival. Part of their problem was that the saw the native Inuit as savages and had nothing to offer them. The Inuit survived where as the Greenland Viking colony eventually died out.
