As is often the case with such comments as yours does you miss the point because for one you ignore the many hospitals that are now being overwhelmed by people infected with the covid virus. Arizona hospitals are already maxed out and stuggling to find beds ANYWHERE for their seriously sick patients. The same is happening in Houston hospitals which are increasingly at their limit. This will only get worse as cases are increasing. There is another aspect to this that you should consider. And that is your effort to deny the severity of this pandemic is really your mostly self-conscious way of copping with the extreme degree to which this pandemic has upended our lives. Efforts to diminish the threat this pandemic poses are rationalizations to make yourself feel better about it because the consequences of this pandemic are indeed profoundly destabilising our lives dramatically. So make no mistake this pandemic is difficult to accept what it is doing to all aspects of our lives. But it is still a short sighted rationalization to deny or minimise the reality of the threat that this pandemic poses to all of us in one way or another. Have a good day.
