And the irony of course is that every one of these righteous sounding republicans would turn around and back Trump. None of them had the spine to stand up to him. And even now many republicans not necessarily all of these clowns are warning the Biden Admin. not to indict Trump because of the blow back that will occur from Trump supporters. What these republicans are really saying is that we don't have the guts to stand up for the country AGAINST Trump. This is what will take the country down. If Trump is not brought to justice then he will feel further emboldened to do what he wants. As the old saying goes "We attract precisely what we are afraid to face"!! Hopefully Democrats can take the necessary steps to bring Trump to justice. I am very concerned that this may not happen. And if Trump comes back in in 2024 then this country is dead as democracy as a Republic and so much more that it has represented to the world despite all of its flaws.
