One wonders what the next step in lithography will be. What is the limit of EUV lithography? I'm sure there is much research in this area.

@wrwhiteal It is rather sad that someone like you had access to Space X and JPL but all you do in your comments is tear down NASA. When a person is only able to speak in a negative tone about an entity like NASA and what it accomplished with the Apollo and shuttle progeams that says more about you then who you seek to disparage. Those NASA projects programs had their problems which is an unavoidable reality when humans are involved, but who else in the world ever did what NASA did in those early years?? And the space program wouldn't be anywhere near where it is now, but for NASA. Now ask yourself what is it in your own life that you still judge in the same harsh tone as you do NASA because there in lies the source of your judgmental attitude. Your judgmental attitude toward NASA doesn't really hurt them, but it does hurt you. The ability to make peace with yourself can also bring you peace in your attitude about NASA and whomever else you have judged harshly. Otherwise you are carrying an unnecessary burden to your last days.

@wrwhiteal I appreciate your in depth response. You are clearly knowledgeable about the subject. However I see that any criticism of NASA must also include the pathetic funding from Congress compared to the blank check that was provided for the military. And often for weapon systems the military didn't even ask for. Look at how much was wasted on war which could have really changed this country for the better. Imagine if NASA had gotten the proper funding from the beginning of a project. The history of NASA vs the Military was and still is a game of providing lip service to science while always supporting this country's capacity to make war. And the growing military budget while cutting taxes has a lot to do with this country's debts. And the growing debt is part of what will lead to this country becoming a second rate nation because we put science second while propping up a bloated military. The US could be leading the world in so many ways, but it spent trillions wasted on war in the last 60 years that has helped to destroy this country as well break down the integrity of the countries we fought in or supported with aid and puppet governments. Much more could be said about our fading prospects, but I have gone on too long already. Stay well.
