  3. This is only the second time that Greek names have been used to name tropical storms. The first time that occured was 2005 which was a very busy hurricane year. This year is a whole month ahead of the pace of Greek named storms in the Atlantic. Because of global warming this could a trend occuring more often then not and THAT increases the likelihood of more devastating hurricanes ravaging the Atlantic or gulf coast.
