  1. Fascinating that you figured that out while the professional astronomers are still studying the object. But in fact just calling it a gas cloud is an over simplification because such a gas cloud should have a high percentage of hydrogen gas, but it doesn't as noted by the astrophotographer Sainty, one of three who made the discovery. His use of a hydrogen filter in imaging the object and found no hydrogen. So this discovery is another window into a phenomena in astronomy that could enhance our understanding in a new way.

  4. There are thousands of amateur astronomers around the world searching the sky of something interesting. Consequently it only stands to reason that one of these of these amateurs would find something unique. In the same way amateur occasionally find small asteroids not seen before.
