  1.  @mikecr4916  You are missing part of the picture. The black hole is not what is holding the galaxy together but it formed early in the formation of the galaxy at the center much like the sun formed at the center of our solar system. The difference is that it is dark matter that holds the galaxy together. Now I'm sure that explanation can be further refined by another knowledgeable person. The formation of a black hole and the galaxy it occupies continues to be studied.

  2. It is always rather amusing when a detractor of a well established theory makes a critical comment and throws out some name, "Burkland", but offers no explanation what it is. And then everyone reading to do some research first. 😅😆🤣 Perhaps this commenter is a troll in training. 😆😅🤣

  3. To put it another way, seeing the donut on the moon by the Event Horizon Telescope is the analogy for the SIZE of the black hole at the Sagittarius A not that we can see an object that size on the moon.
