@James Baird. Actually that is routinely done for infections like this. Because those people will all monitored and quarantined in their home country. Case in point: Of all the health care workers who flew back from West Africa to the US after providing support there to treat people with ebola not one spread the virus to another person because of the quarantine procediure!!

@Nima Patel. The requirement for calling this a global emergency is that there had to be secondary infections showing up in home countries from which those initially infected people returned to.

Those people that are flown home will be kept in quarantine until the incubation period of the virus is over. If it was you, you would want to go home too!

shrimpyvfx There is no way anyone has a vaccine for this coronavirus because this the first time it has infected human beings. It will be at least 6 months before a vaccine is developed and tested and another 6 months to produce enough to treat people.
