  1. That is a false statement to say nothing is being done. When you are seeing fires like this happen it is incorrect to say nothing is being done. This fire blew very fast with 60 + mph winds. And with the area so dry ANYBODY would have difficulty getting a handle on this fire. One resident on another video even stated that the major had done a lot to prepare people for a possible fire like this.

  2. The wind is not coming off the ocean, but blowing to the west TO the ocean. Santa Ana winds do that.
