This interviewer just wouldn't accept Sarah Paine's logical and informed answers to his questions. Some interviewers just don't know when to move on in an interview.

@GARYGUYTON-c7i I'll take the informed speculation from a someone with a PhD in history who teaches at the Naval War College over just about anyone. Of course we can quibble about details and she could be wrong on occasion because nobody is perfect. But as she implied in her comments there are some answers to questions that we cannot fully know, but speculation generates conversation and can lead to better understanding and individual research.

@trevors6379 On the contrary she did answer it but the interviewer wasn't accepting the answer. That happens sometimes. For most of the interview which was over 2 hours the interaction appeared cordial and cooperative. I am tired of addressing this issue so I'm done. Have a good day.

@David_Lloyd-Jones What is this "in every damn video" stuff about? I was merely commenting on this video. There is no need to conflate it with videos in general. I'm guessing in my last statement cuz I don't get your context?!

@historicallyfirstprincipled In my opinion those were not counterfactuals but hypotheticals which ignored the circumstances that led to the war in the first place.
