  1. As an intellectual study this video offers insights into how the individual can and must play a role in moving society forward to a reality in which people can become self-actualized. But no one is going to give that reality to us. We must fight for and grasp for it ourselves. The society is so structured as to dissuade people from stepping out and seeking to change the system from within. After all we have seen this many times with individuals and groups whom are inspired to change the world, but often are shut down by the system. The lives of these inspired people are accessible and it behooves us to take the initiative and learn from them. So on an intellectual level this is satisfying, but on the level of motivating enough people to take the initiative toward their individual self-actualization to change the society toward one that isn't this top down hierarchy I feel the video falls short. But let me be clear I feel that the video offers a realistic stepping stone toward higher ideal we all seek so in this way it succeeded. And perhaps it is I who expects to much of this video and the series it comes from. Maybe what is needed is a separate series of videos could combine this intellectual vision with a real world focus on how people are to realize the vision in this video instead of merely seeing it as interesting, or intellectually stimulating. And yes, I have thought of doing such a series myself, but not at this time.
