  1. Wearing a mask is vastly better then not wearing one if they are worn properly. Masks definitely block most of a virus transmission if someone coughs or sneezes in your general direction.

  6. Actually this virus is partially airborne as are the cold and and flu. But this virus is more infectious and has a higher mortality.

  9. We can't put this all on China. In the first place they couldn't possibly afford to compensate the rest of the world even a fraction of the economic loss that will be accrued in the coming year. In addition most countries had at least a month's warning but were slow to respond. The US for example was and still is the most inept in the world in its response thanks to an incompetent WH.

  12. Countries where the people of Portugese and Spanish descent have been referred to as Latin American countries for quite some time. Centuries in fact. Geographically it is South or Central American but they are still Latin culturally which has nothing to do with the Latin language.
