  1. @​ @quaoar213  You don't seem to be getting the picture. The rising sea level is only one piece of it. As this video explaining the rising sea surface temperature means a reduced ability of the sea to retain oxygen. Declining oxygen means more fish will die. If more fish die then there may be a decline in fish available for people. It also means less fish available for other wildlife that prey on the fish thus upsetting the balance of nature at sea. Then there is also the warming atmosphere which increasingly threatens all life on earth. As the sea surface temperature rises the Arctic sea ice will melt quicker resulting in the atmosphere warmer faster still. All of that is just the beginning..

  2.  @5353Jumper  That 'someone' is the industrial age of society that began 150 or so years ago. As the climate warms more extreme weather as in drought, heat waves, forest fires, floods are increasingly frequent. But then maybe you already understood this.
