  1. Over population is a global problem which is related to so many other problems in the world, but the reality is also that Mayotte is well down the list of most densely regions in the world.   2. It was clearly explained what France could have done better than they did. For one the infrastructure is substandard on Mayotte thus increasing the level of destruction and likely increased the number of casualties. Second, Mayotte used to be administered by the Comoros Islands which could have provided better sensitivity to the needs of Mayotte being a related culture besides being right next door relative to France which is thousands of miles/ km away.

  4. In fact Mayotte along with the Comoros Islands are between Madagascar and southern Africa. That's a couple thousand miles from India!! Look at a map once in a while.
