This concern about any russian threat to Europe is exaggerated in the extreme. Russia unintentionally made it quite clear how inept and poorly trained its troops in this war against Ukraine. Of course some units in the russian have performed more competently, but on the whole the Russian military has been repeatedly outperformed on the ground and often even inadequate in gaining any air superiority. The only card that has made this conflict a stalemate up until now is their repeated firing missiles into Ukraine and often at civilian targets. And that demonstrates quite clearly how morally bankrupt this Russian hierarchy and military has become.
