Your comment doesn't take into account other contributing factors such as the strong winds at the time.

@TheDeepShallow The problem with that statement begs the question what winds are too strong? One could say because the plane crashed the winds were too strong for a landing. But what if it is standard for pilots to land in winds that are that strong? And with winds gusting like they were it could be fairly stable one minute and suddenly as the plane was touching down the wind gusts intensify?! I would have to hear what an experienced pilot would say about such scenarios to understand better. l
