  1. Why would it be entertaining if all the ice got melted at once? But it won't happen that way. The ice is already melting far faster then it has in perhaps millions of years. And we will all suffer the consequences. Even if we start getting active to confront it we will still see much devastation.

  2. Human actions are overwhelming the earth's ability to self regulate. The oceans are seriously over fished. The Arctic ice Cap is retreating and getting thinner over time. The climate is warming, forest fires are more intense, and drought is becoming more frequent. The rain forests around the world are being burned or cut down to raise cattle or grow palm trees for palm oil. I have not seen ANY self regulating capacity in the earth slow down or stop any of deteriorating conditions.

  4. @Typier S. Sea level rise is not the same everywhere. Sea level rise can vary due to ocean currents as well as other factors.

  6. If only the ice in the West Antarctic Ice Sheet melts that would lead to a three meter rise in sea level. But there is also increasing ice melt even in East Antarctica and also Greenland.
