  1. Surely you jest!! Dam removal is about reclaiming the environment to its former balance and beauty. Dams ultimately outlive their usefulness in other ways due to siltation behind the dam diminishing its effectiveness.

  2. Read the comments. This was an illegal dam and only served a paper mill. Removing dams is also inevitable as they have a limited lifespan due to siltation behind the dam for one.

  4. A couple of other comments stated the dam was only used to supply power to a paper miill. Definately time to get rid of another dam. By the way where is your concern for the restoration of fish hopefully salmon and the ecosystem as a whole because of this dam removal?? It is not all about human needs anymore!! We are all part of the environment after all!
