  1. ​ @ANASTASIA-ANGEL  Sorry, but that comment is quite laughable in the context of the effort put forward in the attempt to rescue these five people. This rescue effort clearly cost in the millions of dollars and in this case it was for naught. But that cost will be absorbe by the coast guard and military and Canadian units and you won't see any change in your life or anyone else's because of this expense. Be thankful that there was such a huge effort to rescue those folks despite their naivete in this trip to the bottom of the ocean in first place.

  2. I have never heard if there was more one sub in this sketchy enterprise run by Stockton Rush and have only heard of the Titan as the only referred to. As far back as 2021 there sub trips to the Titanic which strongly suggests that repeated exposure to the high pressures at depth eventually resulted in a materials fatigue leading to its failure. Nothing like this private sub venture should ever be allowed to happen again without intensive relugatory oversight.
