  2. One thing missing from the explanation about the cause of the sink hole is karst geology that underlies much of Florida. Karst is composed of limestone which is relatively easily eroded by water percolating/ flowing through especially after a heavy rain. Eventually the ground beneath the surface becomes so porous that it collapses under its own weight.

  7. That's pretty obvious. The planes crashed. But it is not outside the norm of plane crashes in a given year. Only the commercial airline crash and Learjet medical transport were unusual.

  10. Did you forget about the medical transport that crashed in NE Philadelphia?? The impact left an 8 foot deep crater. And the trajectory on videos is almost straight down.

  12. No one ever said there wasn't a confirmed pilot on this plane. The sheriff said the identity of the pilot was not confirmed.

  13. Then look up the data yourself and you'll find it is true that flying especially in a commercial airline is much safer. Flying in a private plane is also safer. The number people killed in private planes is at most 100--300 in a year. The number of people killed driven is in the tens of thousands!!
