Thanks for the cogent review of what is clearly conditional behavior on the part of Desantos going to Biden for federal assistance. When he needs something of course he'll be civil. But down the road Desantos will go back to be an as$hole. As to the claim of hundreds killed by Hurricane Ian, that claim was made by the sheriff in Lee County where Fort Myers is. But he had no evidence to make that claim other then saying many people drowned. I did not hear this sheriff make the report, but heard it from another news source repeating the story without checking if it was legit. So I think that claim will turn out to be an extreme exaggeration. Nevertheless the latest report is 17 killed in this storm.
