  1.  @helisoma  You are thinking of the spotted hyena. The brown hyena in this video has a bite no where near as strong as the spotted hyena.

  2. That was the first time I've seen a brown hyena in a YouTube video. It looks very different from the more common and more aggressive spotted hyena. Looks more like a shaggy wolf.

  3. There are actually four species of hyena three of those are in Africa, striped, spotted which is most common and the brown hyena which is very uncommon.
